ALSI employs a holistic approach towards the effectiveness of achievement of its mission; "to improve the competitiveness of the Lebanese Software Industry", the major elements of which are:

• Representation of the Lebanese software industry in local, regional and international forums.
• Capacity Building at the individual, organizational level through the developing and participating in trainings, workshops, round table discussions, and seminars.
• Networking through the participation in specialized trade shows, congresses and professional panel discussions.
• Lobbying and Advocacy to improve the working environment of the Lebanese software industry through the advancement of coordination between the private and public sector.
• Partnership Creation with non-governmental organizations, professional associations, and chambers of commerce.
